Problem with TPS563200, keeps faulting

Hi

I have problem with TPS563200 , boards soldered in China plant in the September this year and they supplied part.
They just randomly failed , sometimes if you just touch them or 5V line, design is from TI software , 5V out maximum 0.8A,

I read in one post that there was silicon update for this chip!

How I can make sure I get new version of chip ?

Hi Eric

Chip PN is : TPS563200DDCT and only what I see on chip is marking 320!

Hi Eric

Boards were soldered in China , they supplied parts , it was only 50 boards and they did not use roll.

How I can make sure If I order some parts now for replacement I actually receive new silicon part ?

Hi Zaric,

we need the information of the roll to get the data of IC. In QFN package, we can read information from pacage, SOT23 is very small, we can't write the information. if you order the part now, it's certainly new version, we replace all the older version IC at Agusta this year.

Hi Eric

As I said I don't have that information , parts are ordered from Digi-Key, I will try to get it from Digi-Key. I just ordered 25 pcs from Digi-Key couple weeks ago and they are acting same as one from September, Did you actually pull back all parts from Suppliers like Digi-Key ?

Where I can order new parts and be sure I get latest version ?

After we finish the bug, we update all inventory in IT and agent, if you order the IC now, i am sure it's new version.
