TPS7A8300 - About Discharge resistor

 Hi Team,

 

I understand that this device have a discharge resistor.

However, I found the value of this resistor.

Could you please let us know if you have any information?

    The discharge resistor is typically 250Ohm.

    Thank you for the information.

    And, I have one more question.

     

    According to the datasheet, “If the voltage on the EN pin is less than 0.5 V, the device is disabled and the output is high impedance.”

    However, this device have the output discharge resistor(250ohm) between OUT and GND.

    Therefore, I understand that the output isn’t high impedance at EN pin is less than 0.5V.

    Is my understanding correct?

    Hi Kanemaru-san,

    Your understanding is correct, the sentence that you quote is incorrect. We will have this corrected in the next datasheet revision.

    When the EN is logic low, the device is disabled and the output impedance would be the discharge resistance of 250ohm.
