BQ27505 - EOL or at least NRND

Hi,

Looks like the BQ27505YZGT-J5 is  going EOL or at least NRND. I have been using it because of the small footprint. I would be interested in finding out about replacements -  perhaps parts that use the same Impedance Track Algorithm and the newer ones that use Dynamic Voltage Correlation. Along with that I would be interested in complementary parts for battery charging and battery protection for a single Li Ion battery.

    Hello Calum,

    For the bq27510-G3 or bq27520-G4 would be a good alternative to the bq27505. Also, we have on Preview the bq27426 System-side gauge with pre-programmed chemistry profiles.

    For DVC, take a look at the bq27621-G1, which is our system side gauge with the DVC algorithm.

    Regarding the battery charger, what charging current are they looking for? Are they looking for a host-controlled or standalone charger?
    For protection, are they looking for primary/secondary protection?
