Hi,

In my application, I'm using BQ24266 while Vin is 5+0.25Vmax (using USB power adapter)

I've noticed that DRV pin can reach 5.3Vmax, while the maximum allowed voltage in IUSB1,2,3 pins is 5V.

I assume that it would never reach 5.3V while Vin=5.25Vmax

Under my operating conditions, can I connect I USB1,2,3 Pins directly to DRV output?

Second, assuming DRV can be connected to IUSB1,2,3 - while Vin=0, can DRV pin hold pins IUSB1,2,3 at 0V or will it be floating? Should I place pull-down resistors?

Yes. The latest datasheet has been updated to allow IUSBx pins to be pulled up to the 5.3V

Hi Jeff,

Thanks again for your quick response.

Once I remove the power adapter and Vin becomes 0V, (BAT is automatically connected to SYS) would DRV pin becomes tri-state/Pulled down?

I need to ensure that IUSB1,2,3 wont be in an undefined state.

There is no internal pull down resistor so you will need an external pull down resistor.
