Dear Forum,
We are planning to build a custom Battery Management System(BMS). Our BMS would consist of a battery monitor, charger, a fuel gauge etc. We are working to find suitable components for all the parts. As our BMS is for automotive purposes, we are planning to use the bq76pl536a as the battery monitor, a BQ24650 battery charger that provides upto 26 V, and a compatible fuel gauge like BQ34z100.
As we are just in the evaluating phase, it is very convenient that TI manufactures and sells EVMs for these components that we can hook together to get quick validation. Now I am a little clueless about the final component - the power supply for the charger. In the lab we use a table mounted Power Supply, but we want a chip based alternative that can be boxed in a small container, just like the other EVMs.
More specifically, we want a board, that takes the standard 110V AC input and provides adjustable output of upto 30V DC. We like this design http://www.ti.com/tool/pmp10110.4 but apparently this board is not for sale.
Are there any other TI boards that meet our specs?
Thanks and regards,
