Hi,

I work on bq78350 and I have some issues with the remaining capacity estimation.

I have 4s2p Lihtium Ion battery and I need a reserve capacity of 3% (210mAh / 7000mAh). So Battery Low = 4% and Dod at EDV2 = 15728 and Design Capacity = 6790 (7000 -210).

When I dishcarge the battery, I get a fall (7% to 4%) in the remaining capacity estimation at EDV2. Below the gauge work well.

Anybody have already got this problem? A solution?

Have you run the profiles to calculate the CEDV Coefficients? This is necessary to reduce the chance that an SOC drop will occur.

Hi,

No, I don't run the profile.Without reserve it works well. I thought this coefficients were correct.

This tool is for Impedance Track. Can I use it for CEDV?

Can you confirm that only Dod, EDV2 and Design capacity need to be modified when there is a reserve capacity?
