Customer have a question about LM317A internal short circuit current limit threshold. They can't see detail description about that. What is the over current protection threshold if customer use LM317A as a "12V~14V in / 9V out" power source? Thank you.

The current limit is specified in the LM317A datasheet, under Electrical Characteristics.

Your voltage dropout is less than 15 V, so you will be looking at the current limit below.
