My input voltage is 7.4 volt and required voltage is 12 v....but 12volt required for initially to boost system...the system will take load current around 3-4A.

suggest boost converter...

not sure if my understanding right. you need a 7.4V input, 12V and 4A output boost converter. you can have a look at TPS61088

What is the input voltage range? Is Vin=7.4V the minimum input voltage? and the output is setting at 12V/4A. If it is so, TPS61088 is just fit for your application. You can apply for a TPS61088 EVM board to test the performance by contacting the local TI FAE.
