TPS61235R Grounding and Enable Questions

For the TPS61235RWLR, we had concerns similar to those of the TPS63031DSKT. Our first concern was over having two grounds. The datasheet recommends having two grounds for AGND and PGND. However, the typical application schematic shows both grounds being connected to one another.  For the EN, we are unsure if using the Li-ion battery’s voltage is sufficient or a 3.3 V bus voltage is necessary.

  • both AGND and PGND should be connected together with single node. make sure not large power current flowing through the AGND trace or panel. please refer to the EVM for PCB layout.

the EN pin voltage can be the same as VIN, for example 4.3V.
