Non isolated DC/DC converter for 2kW Power application

Hello,

My project is to design a DC/DC converter for 2kw power application. Below is the specification:

Vin : 40V to 110V

Vout : 72V

fsw: 100 kHz (approx)

I am planning to implement SEPIC for this. Taking the size into consideration I was thinking to operate 4 such converters in parallel/interleaved.

My doubt is can i use UC3854 for this..? Any other IC can you suggest for the same application.

Please share your view.

    It seems to me that something like a full bridge would be a better choice. The FETs in a sepic will see higher currents and higher switching voltage than a full bridge, resulting in lower efficiency. I suggest they use Power Stage Designer and perform a trade study.
