bq24120 - Programming 10- 40 deg. C Allowed Charging Temperature Range for 103AT thermistor

Hi forum

We want to program the temperature range for allowed charging to 10 deg. C to 40 deg. C as our battery manufacturer has advised.

The battery uses a 103AT thermistor.

At the two desired temperatures, the corresponding resistance of the NTC is 17.96 kOhm and 5.82 kOhm.

Unfortunately. when calculating the corresponding values for the RT2 and RT1 resistors, the RT2 value becomes negative.

I have recalculated and reviewed the expression numerous times, but cannot seem to find any errors in my calcultion.

Therefore I need help!

I suspect that the formula given has an error, but time will tell.

Please help me find the RT1 and RT2 values that will give me the 10 to 40 deg. C range.
