Hi~ Happy new year~

I'm FAE in one of TI's Disties in Korea.

I got a qestion from one of our customer about TLC59116 standby mode condition.

I've checked datasheet as below.

- Standby mode may be entered via I2C command or by pulling the RESET pin low.

My understanding is that I2C cmd means - Setting OSC bit(Bit 4) to a 1, LEDOUT0~3 to "00".

Am I wrong? or other more settings or sequence I have to do.

We did standby mode setting as above(total 3 settings) but 6.8mA is still shown. 

Please let me know how to solve this issue.

    Sorry this was never answered. To close the thread, this was probably the expected current but the REXT value does affect the standby current. We've seen customers disable the TLC59116 device using a load switch when not in use to lower the standby current to be lower than 0.5uA.
