ADC RESOLUTION BQ34Z100-G1

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100-G1, BQ34Z100EVM

I calibrated the BQ34Z100-G1 and now I want checking the accuracy of voltage measurement of gauge.

So I measure the voltage with a 6 1/2 digit voltmeter with this accuracy : ±(0.0035%Reading+0.0005%Range). The uncertainty of measure is egal to  0.2775mV for 6.5V.

Data for BQ:

Voltage Range on BAT input = 0.95V  (1V - 0.05V)

ADC resolution = 14 bits (15max?)

Quantum BQ = 57.9869µV

Data for Hard:

I have Voltage divider = 19304mV and EVM board with 300k/16.5k resistor divider => Ratio divider = 18.1818 .

ADC Resolution:

Finally, I must have  Quantum Batt = Quantum BQ * Ratio divider = 57.9869µV * 18.1818 = 1.05431mV

TEST:

After measurement of voltage and comparison, I have 12mV of resolution !

See here :

Can you explain why I don't have a better resolution?

Thank you in advance,

Loïc
