The short answer is no, because you can't guarantee how well they will current share unless you use some sort of feedback loop or droop compensation.

If it is not a single load, but rather several loads collectively drawing 18A, then you can use two TPS24751 with the same input supply and split up the different loads.

Another option would be to use an external MOSFET hot swap controller such as the TPS24770 (which also includes an analog current monitor). This way you can use just a single IC + MOSFET to drive higher currents such as 18A application or higher.

Perhaps I spoke too soon, maybe the Rds-on doesn't vary that greatly. Will move this thread to the Load Switches forum as they cover eFuse devices such as the TPS24751

Hi Nithin,

We have not yet tested TPS24751 eFuse parallel operation. It may be possible with some circuit modifications.

TPS259241 is tested for parallel operation of four devices. Here is the schematic.

Please note, the circuit must be tested to a satisfactory level before using it in production.
