Is that possible to force bq24450 to operate in BOOST mode by forcing the BSTOP line low?
In my current implementation I have the BSTOP hardwired to ISNS, which is driving it low when the voltage across Risns is above 25mV and when the charging current is below Itaper it lets the internal pullup of BSTOP to go high, stopping the BOOST mode and going to FLOAT mode.
I tried attaching the BSTOP line (still hardwired to ISNS) to GND when the IC is float charging, it doesn't make the bq24450 to go to BOOST mode and I don't really know why.
It is ISNS that drives BSTOP and when it's low then BSTOP is low and BOOST is active. When it's constantly low why does the IC keep charging at float voltage?
