Hi Team,

We would like to know the abnormal operation of TPS63060.

Case1: If FB pin short to GND.

Case2: If FB pin is open.

I guess that the output voltage increases and the overvoltage protection acts.

Therefore, this device maintains Vout=12V(min), 16V(max) and operates.

Is my understanding correct?

If FB pin is short to ground, normally the short circuit protection acts as described in section 8.3.2. of the DS
If FB pin is open, then your are right the over voltage protection acts. this feature detects when Vout is between 12V and 16V and pulls the FB node up so that the converter operates.
