OMAP3530 with TPS65073 power sequencing question

Hi,

I'm currently designing a OMAP3530 system, powered with a TPS65073. From the block diagrams in several data sheets (e.g. page 9 of SLVA376) I see the DCDC2 and DCDC3 enable signals tied together (which are powering VDD_CORE and VDD_MPU respectively), however page 4 of the SLVA376 document states that VDD_MPU should only be ramped up after VDD_CORE has stabilised. Is it actually OK to ramp these two voltages together, or is there something in the TPS65073 that will power these rails correctly?

No, the TPS65073 still needs some "Processor Supervisory Circuits" to implement the power-up sequencing. This is essential to the proper initialization of OMAP3530.

Thanks for the response, I was just about to get back to the PSU.

I had in fact already read that article, you'll notice it also has the confusing (and apparently incorrect) block diagram where the enables for the VDD_CORE and VDD_MPU power rails are tied together.

I'm just being lazy here, but do you know of any examples of an OMAP35x powered from a TSP65073 with correct sequencing?
