I need support to understand how the temperature measurement is carried out in BQ40Z60.
according to description
4.8 Thermistors
The bq40z60 supports up to four external NTC thermistors. Each thermistor can be enabled using the
data flash Temperature Enable register and they can be assigned to cells or FETs using the Temperature
Mode register.
We have tried both settings and it looks as setting the register to read FET temp gives a different value than cell.
Trying to understand if the circuit uses the PN-part in transistor to get temperature of FET??
