Dear Charger team,

I had a customer who selecting BQ25505 for a solar battery charger for smart watch. Since they only had one small battery from the system, so that they would like to know if their system can connect to the battery directly (Vbatsec) instead of FET after the (Vstor), kindly confirm if it is OK.

Also they would like to confirm with us if they can use below coil for the L1.

The inductor looks okay.
I compared the above schematic to the TEG Application circuit and they look similar. I would recommend trying this on an EVM with their real battery. Where is the system load connected to?

Customer would like to connect the load directly on pin18, just the battery terminal. Kindly advice if it is OK. thanks.
