comment from my customer:
I am connecting an battery to X2 and there is a dynamic load (between 5 an 20mA) between V_BAT+ and DGND. The FETs just won’t turn on, unless I put some charge on thebq29702.docxir gate (measuring the gate voltage with my multimeter is enough). Once the FET had turned on, I have tested the over current current protection – the FET turned off, but wouldn’t turn on after reducing the load current.
I already added the optional 5 MegOhm resistors on both FETs – no change can be noticed.
Do you have any idea what i could have done wrong with my design?
