0.5W LED dirver

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3405, LM3410

Hi,

#1, I want to drive 0.5W LED, input is 3~5V DC, the LED just be controlled on or off. Is there any solution for the application?

#2, I noticed the TPS6165, but I am not sure about PWM control mode. When the chip work on PWM mode, if ctrl pin is high(simulate the duty is 100%)  to light LED, the ctrl pin is low to shutdown LED.

Best regards,

Kent

  • Hi Kent,

Depends on your LED voltage higher than or lower than the input voltage, we have LM3405 for buck and LM3410 for boost.
Both of them are N-FET integrated, with PWM dimming input and have 6-pin SOT package option for minimizing board area.

May I understand more about your technical requirements and end application, e.g. LED voltage, no. of LED used, LED current, etc.?

    Thank you!
