TPS65563A / G_IGBT_P and G_IGBT_N can be shorted?

Hi,

My customer is asking if G_IGBT_P and G_IGBT_N can be shorted. They are asking it because their board has limited space so they want to reduce external components like small resistor. Please let me know the reason why it needs to separate if you can't recommend it.

    Below is the Pin output interface design.

    From internal design, it can be short. Need customer confirm performance of external IGBT with combined driver.

    After short this two pin, there is a current spike at turn on/off edge from VCC to GND with very short time.
