TPS5450 Feed Back problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS5450

Hi,

We made use of TPS5450 for 3.3v DC in our Hardware  and we got the perfect results for the voltages at PH and VSNSE.

And the resistors in feedback circuit are properly functioning.

So we made use of Same Circuit in another Application, But there when we measured the voltages across PH and VSENSE we are not getting the proper voltage range. Its showing Zero volts. What can be the issue when Same circuit is used??

And we also tried the continuity of the components and its working fine...

Please find the schematic below.

For the working circuit board the values of VSENSE and PH are 1,22v and 3.10v respectively.

But for the non working board VESNSE and PH values are Zero.

Is it happening because output voltage is zero  due to VESNSE is zero or vice-versa??

  • Looks like this is posted multiple places...Lets try to confine this to one thread.

The VSENSE voltage should be 1.221 V when regulating. PH should switch between Vin and one diode drop below ground. Try replacing the non working device.

No Vout is caused by no switching on PH.
