I am planning to design 2s-3s USB balance charger for LI-PO with the following specs
- Input is 5VDC (0.9-3.1A)
- Automatically sense if 2S or 3S is connected to the onboard JST XH connector and provide 4.2VDC (balancing available current) between each cell.
- Provide balance charging – charging and discharging each cell until an even charge is achieved across all cells.
- LED indicator (red/green) to indicate charging status.
- Include one-way diode to prevent reverse drain in the event of malfunction from external power source. (eg: wall plug/car adapter)
can anyone provide any help or a design using available chips?
