Why does TPS64200 can be set to current limit upto 3A only?

The TPS64200 is an older controller. For controllers, there is no fixed output current limit. The gate driver strength and current limit circuitry integrated it into the TPS64200 make it the best fit for lower current applications.

Then why is it mentioned in datasheet of TPS64200 that it is up to 3A?
