TPS51200 or LDO for DDR memory power supply on AM335x design?

Hello:

I am doing an AM335x design and reviewing the schematics from the reference design.  I understand that 1.5V at 450mA for the DDR memory interface is required per SoC and DDR datasheet.

TI recommended the TPS51200 IC for DDR power supply generation.  Is the TPS51200 the best part to use if the design doesn't use termination on the DDR lines?  Could a higher current LDO be used instead?
