Did you export this file from the device that you used to run the profile? If so, Impedance Track was not enabled. Update Status is set to 00, where it will be set to 04 if IT is enabled. Do you have the log file from the run? I can check it to see it it would have passed.

I had to deliver the first unit to the customer, I is working as expected but I still need to create a new profile for the pack he require.
I will do so in the next two weeks and then post the files as requested.

I see that my max error sits on 1%.  I have created a goldenfile with EV2300. and programmed another bq34z100-g1 and now I can not communicate with the bq34z100-g1 after I have loaded the goldenfile.  What is the problem?

I have created 2 goldenfiles immediately after another and compare the two SREC files. They are not the same. Why would that be.

I have used the EV2300 and bqstudio 1.3.45 on Windows7 64 bit

What I have done is put a bq34z100-g1 on the EV2300 eval board

I did some more work regarding the *.srec file that bqmanagement studio creates.
It creates a S3 type of record but the sample bq34z100_G1_v0_16_build_17.srec that comes with bqmanagment studio is a type S2 record.
So It will not work.
How do I get bqmanagment studio to create a type S2 record for the bq34z100g1. Using EV2300 and I installed a bq34z100g1 on the ev2300.
Urgent help required.

the bq34z100_G1_v0_16_build_17 is of type 2 and that works on the bq34z100g1 on PWR111RevB and EV2300 connected So how do I then create a goldenfile with the ev2300 and bqManagement studio that works?

I have created a goldenfile as you have suggested in previous posts.  I then click goldenfile in bqManagement Studio and the file is created.  If I take that Same file and program it back to the same bq34z100G1 I can not communicate with it anymore.

If I take a new bq34z100g1 and put it on the pwr111rev. communications is good.  If I then use bq34z100_G1_v0_16_build_17.srec.  I can still communicate with the bq34z100G1 after the programming.  I can then run a optimization cycle and create a golden file .  If I use then this goldenfile and program it to the bq34z100g1 that took the bq34z100_G1_v0_16_build_17.srec file it fails to communicate after the created goldenfile was programmed.

Now my stupidity is going to show.  How do I create the .gg file?

Thank you for your help.  The problem is I need to create golden files for 3 more battery packs and a few more in the next few months.  It is not viable to ask you to create a golden file for each round.

I will send you the gg file now but how do we solve this issue in the long run?

I use SAMSUNG 18650 2.5Ah for this pack  3 in series 2 in parallel. 2077  I think.  For some reason my chemistry programming tab is now empty2016_04_19a.gg.zip

I thought that you lost communication with the pack after programming the srec back into it. Canyou communicate with it now? If so, please use the CHEM_ID button in the Commands panel to read the ChemID. I found that 2077 does not correspond to the Ra table data in the gg file that you sent. We will need the correct chemistry data to create the golden file.

Here are the steps to creating a golden srec for the device.

• Run the Optimization Cycle to update Qmax and the Ra-table.
• Go to the Data Flash window and press the Read All button.
• Export the gg.csv file
• Edit the gg.csv file using a text editor. e.g. Notepad. Do not use Excel.
• Set the Update Status to 02 and set the Cycle Count to 0.
• Load the default .srec file into the device.
• Load the ChemID into the device.
• Load your modified gg.csv file into the device and press the Write All button. (Be sure the have it load the calibration data.)
• Save the golden .srec file.

I created the golden srec and included the df.fs and bq.fs formats as well. I programmed the srec back into the device to verify that it does not corrupt the flash memory.
