TPS54332 - About behavior when VOUT becomes higher than VIN

Hi Team,

 

Our customer would like to use TPS54332 at the following conditions.

If the input voltage falls(18VIN =>0VIN), the output voltage becomes higher than the input voltage (VIN < VOUT).

Then, does the reverse current flow from the output side through the input side?

I guess that if the internal high side MOSFET have the body diode, the reverse current does flow.

Is my understanding correct?

 

[Conditions]

Vin=18V

Vout=5V

Iout=3A(max)
