We have a customer design that uses the PT5041N part, which is not currently available. Our purchasing group is able to locate PT5041M and PT5041J and would like to know if the alternate parts will work in this application. Unfortunately, the TI Datasheet (found at:www.ti.com/.../pt5040.pdf) does not include package drawings. The datasheet is also missing any reference to the J suffix. The datasheet indicates that the N suffix is a package code of EAD and the M suffix is a EAM package code. I have not been able to locate documentation for those package codes on TI's website. Can someone direct me to or supply me with the package information for the N, M, and J suffixes?
I tried contacting TI Tech support. They replied that they have no package information and that I should try the forums. I feel supported.
