LM27402 switching regulator design question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM27402

The regulator is designed for a switching frequency of 200kHz.  I have seen some units run at 100kHz until the load increases. I can't find this mode of operation in the datasheet, it looks like only the duty cycle should vary with load. The lower switching frequency doesn't occur on all of our units. The lower frequency is causing more ripple on the output which is causing errors on our FPGA that is using the supply as it's core voltage.

Is this lower frequency expected? Is there anything that can be done to the circuit to keep the switcher at 200 kHz?
