what mean by Vin max on Ron resistor selection

 Hi,

While reading datasheet of  LMZ12001TZ-ADJ/NOPB , i observed "Vin max" now am having doubt regarding this Vin max .

Does Vin max is the maximum voltage 20V or what we are going to apply vin(for example 12V or 15 etc )?

Regards,

Prasanna G

  • Hello,
The VINMAX parameter is your design's maximum input voltage you would be using to design the regulator solution. This is assuming that you have an unregulated DC input voltage that you want to regulate to a fixed DC output voltage. The unregulated DC input voltage would have a minimum and a maximum value. VINMIN would refer to the minimum value and VINMAX would refer tot he maximum value.
