Dear Sir,

Why TPS2379 internal building Hoswap MOSFET between VSS and RTN, must also add the external MOSFET?

The external FET (Q1) is optional for cases where higher current is required (see datasheet and the following application report for more information). If only a standard type 2 application is required, then use the TPS2378 instead.
