Hi,

When doing the following thing, do any problems occur to bq25120?

Case-1 Only a battery is connected.

　A signal is given to SCL and a SDA terminal.

　A INT terminal is Pulled Up to High.

Case-2 No Power Supply and No battery

　A signal is given to SCL and a SDA terminal.

　A INT terminal is Pulled Up to High.

Case-3 Only Power Supply is connected. No battery.

　A signal is given to SCL and a SDA terminal.

　A INT terminal is Pulled Up to High.

Could you give more information? Based on the above conditions, I don't see any issues.

Hi, Gautham

When not charging, my customer cuts off between bq25120 and the battery by Load SW.

Because leakage current is reduced.

Therefore a signal is input to bq25120 under no power supplies.

I'd like to confirm whether a problem doesn't occur to IC under such conditions.

Hirotsugu-san,

Why not use the Ship mode? That will save a component as well.

It's to reduce more consumption current from the SHIP mode.

Customer Request can't be filled with maximum 150nA of I (BAT-SHIP).
