re : TWL6032A2B4YFF BOOT1 fuction&WR_S bit is 0

Dear TI's FAE,

Please help to reply the below two questions. Thanks !

1.  the definition for BOOT1 pin ? (not described in TI's docs)
2. When the WR_S bit is 0, reload the default VSEL[5:0] value when a warm reset occurs.
The default value VSEL[5:0] is from EPROM and will be the voltage from 0--> default voltage(if 1.8V) or current voltage setting(2.0V)  --->  default voltage(1.8V) ?

  • Hi Kevin,

    1. BOOT1 pin in this OTP is not used, can be tied to GND.
    2. If WR_S = 0 and warm reset occurs, the bits in the VSEL are updated to the default and the rail state (on / off) will change if the rail is included in the OFF2ACT sequence (Figure 1 in the OTP document). So if current voltage is 2.0V and rail is on, then warm reset will cause 2.0V --> 1.8V transition without going down to 0V. If the rail is off (STATE = 00) then it will turn on at default voltage (0V --> 1.8V) if it is including in the OFF2ACT sequence.

Let me know if you need any clarification or have any other questions.
