The NexFet power stage seems a very practical product, integrating gate drive, power mosfets, temperature sensing and current sensing. Although the datasheet states that the Iout and TOA pins output a voltage proportional to temperature and current, it does not state the gain or ratio. Additionally some accuracy and bandwidth information would be nice. Or is this product intended for use solely in conjunction with TPS V-core buck converters?

Yes, this product was designed specifically to work with TPS V-core buck converters. I am investigating if it can be used for other applications as well.

As mentioned above, the part was designed for V-Core. It can be used for general buck applications, but the information you seek is proprietary to TI. As such you would require an NDA.

If this is something you really want to pursue, you can send a request to mosfetnda@list.ti.com but I can not guarantee that TI will be able to set one up. There would need to be some justification to do so.

Lucky for me, the TPS40428 datasheet mentions the current gain for the CSD95372A smart-powerstage to be 5mV/A, and the temperature sensing to be 8mV/Deg +400mV offset, so this is a good starting point.
