Dear All,

one of my customer is looking out for a solution for lead acid and li-ion battery temperature monitoring, please advise the suitable solution or chip that can be suggested.

    Hi Aravind,

    Our solutions are full fledged  solutions to monitor a battery stack or a single cell battery, but only our high cell count battery monitors have pins to be connected to a temp sensor. We don't actually make a temp sensor or an IC that is meant to measure temp sensing. I would suggest that for a discrete device that is only meant to monitor the temp sensor you use something like this:

    If you want to also protect a battery pack or if you are building a battery pack then using a device like the bq76920 can help with this.
