BQ24032A Charging Current Issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24032A, BQ24232

Hi Tiers.

BQ24032A's charging current setting is caculated by below equation.

RSET = V(SET) x K(SET) / IO(BAT)

I want to set charging current 116mA, So

9159 Ohm = 2.5V x 425 / 0.116 and I using 9.1K Ohm(1%).

But Charging Current is 130mA in my board.

Why not 116mA?

I checked EVM, charging current is 116mA in same setting.

I tested swap.

A : BQ24032A in EVM

B : BQ24032A in my board

A is inserted in my board, charging current is 116mA.

B is inseted in EVM, charging current is 130mA.

In same setting, A's charging current is 116mA and B's charging current is 130mA

Why difference between A and B? Is it in tolerance?

Max K(SET) = 450

Max V(SET) = 2.525

Max charging current in datasheet is 450 x 2.525 / 9100 = 124.86 mA

124.86mA is under 130mA.

Please let me know why 130mA ASAP.

Thanks.
