Oring for 4.2V battery

Can you give some more information about the application?

Does it need to be an "ORing" controller (load current sharing) or is it a power mux, PMUX solution where you need to select between different power supplies?

Also, what is the max load current?

Hi Alex,
It is a power mux. Battery is a backup power when the main power is absent. The load is less than 500mA, but it is better to minimize the voltage drop on oring FET. Small size solution is welcome.

Hi Di,

If looking for a small solution size, TPS2115A comes in a 3x3mm SON package and can handle the 500mA load current.

This device also has an automotive part TPS2115A-Q1; however, it is in a slightly larger package.

I recommend ordering an EVM to evaluate it's overall performance in your application.
