Hi Sir,

Please help us confirm some question about TPS3813 function, thanks.

1. tboundary mean is low to high signal?
2. Confirm set GPIO is how long to sent a signal low to high for WDI PIN, it will be not reset.
3. The low to high signal pulse width request min 50ns?

For example, In the condition WTD = VDD, WDR = 0V
If after 2 sec, WDI no recive low to high signal, it will be reset?

Hi Kuo,

TPS3813 has a window watchdog. In order to avoid a reset, WDI must receive a pulse between the lower and upper boundaries. We recommend a WDI pulse of 50ns.

In your example, a 50ns pulse should be initiated between 93.8ms and 2s will avoid /RESET transitioning to logic low due to a watchdog timeout.

By the way, according to the GPIO default setting during booting-up and for reducing system loading after boot-up, dose TI have other Reset IC which can meet below electronic feature for backup?

1. The "Td(delay time)" more than 100ms
2. The "Window Frame" could be 30s at least and 60s is better
