It is not just a simple specification. The current limit is externally set and will depend on the application. See section 7.3.6 of the datasheet for details. Section 8.2.1 shows an example circuit with the current limit set to 26 A. Equation 12 of step 6 in section 8.2.1.2 shows the detailed calculation for that example. You can follow those steps to set the current limit for your particular design.
The SOA is not measured above the rated output current of 20 A. Theoretically you could extend the lines further down at the same slope. For example the red natural convection line would be approximately 22 A at 70 C.
For the maximum current limit, you would have to solve the datasheet equations 1 and 2 for the customers worst case condition to calculate it.
