bqstudio instillation

Hi

i am trying to use bqStudio in windows 7. after starting the program and choosing the device bq27421A.bqz, a message appears saying:

"The detected device is not compatible with this application.......".

i need your help in solving the problem.

note that i installed the sw as administrator.

    Hi Alon,

    bqstudio is supposed to automatically detect the device if everything is ok. you do not need to select  the bqz. Check to see that your battery is properly connected to the device and that you are measuring 1.8V on VDD pin. can you also let me know what version of bqstudio it is you are using. Can you also try bqevsw to see if that might work, this will let us know if the issue is with bqstudio.
