We are having some difficulties getting communications between our EV2300 (with bqEVSW) and the gas gauges that we are communicating with (bq20z45-r1), and was wondering if we could get some guidance.
We are using an EV2300 hardware with the bqEVSW, driver for the bq20z45-r1, and support components installed on the PC. We are using this setup to communicate with a smart battery that utilizes the bq2045-r1 gas gauges.
All software settings have not been changed from the initial installation.
We are encountering a discrepancy (while reading consecutive batteries), where the software seems to want to write information from the previous pack installed via the bqEVSW into the currently installed battery, specifically data in the “Data Flash” side tab, under the “System Data” field,: Manuf. Info 0, and Manuf. Block 4. This is after ONLY “Read all” is selected.
I’ve attached screenshot images of the error messages.
If at all possible, we’d like to be able to read consecutive batteries without closing the bqEVSW software or having the information over-written.
