Using LP8551 for 100mA LED strings

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8551

My LCD has two 100mA LED strings. Can I tie Outs 1 & 2 together and tie Outs 3 & 4 together to provide 2 100mA outputs on the LP8551. If not, is there a better driver to use for this application.

Hello,

Yes it is possible to connect outputs together to get higher output current. However I would suggest connecting 1&3 and 2&4 together to optimize the output phase shifting in this case.
