Question on using the GPC tool to obtain ChemID for bq34z100

I just recently obtain a new LG INR18650 HG2 cell that does not seem to have Chem ID.

1. My question is if I use the GPC tool, can I use the bq Eval Software tool along with the EV2300

to log the data then submit to the website? The website then will give my the ChemID that most

closely match the cell I am using?

2. Is there a way to create my own Chem ID for this new cell?

Actually, what would be the best option?

Also one more question, I am using the cell in 5s configuration. But to perform the dataloging for the GPC tool,
I only need to use a single cell only right?

You can use the bqEVSW to collect the data and you can collect it for the 5S stack. Set the Number of Series cells to 5 in the config file. If the program does not find a ChemID match, then we can characterize your cell and create a new ChemID for it.

I am not sure I quite understand. The bqEVSW link you provide is for the bq30z554-R1. I am using the ba34z100.
I am planing to use the GPC tool. Are there any instruction on how to log the data. Once the data is log then
I can submit it to the GPC online tool?

The link was not intentional. The e2e program assigned it for some reason. You can download the bqEVSW from the bq34z100 website. There are instructions on using the GPCCHEM tool and log data on its website.
