For all of our SVS devices with a watchdog, after a timeout causes the output to go low, /RESET will only remain low for the startup time (td). This allows the output to monitor the power rail supplying the downstream device before looking for a WDI signal from the device. The supervisor portion of the devices has been the priority over the watchdog functions.
This is an interesting application, could you help explain the desire for keeping /RESET low until WDI transitions?
