Hi,

I have designed a 5.2 V regulator (TPS61030 ) and I'd like to know if the layout is OK, because previously I had problem with a TPS61092. On the datasheet there is only the layout example for the RSA package, but I'm using the PWP. My questions are if the PGND and GND are connected correctly, and if I can place a ground plane on the bottom layer without problem for the regulator (in this case can I place the vias under the thermal pad of the TPS ?). The layout is attached.

i would suggest connect the GND node of the feedback resistor to the GND pin of the IC firstly, then to the GND panel.
it is ok to have GND panel under the IC.
the output capacitor C4 is very critical, so please move the C4 downward a little and the connect copper of the VOUT and GND should be as wide as possible.

Thanks a lot . I've connected the GND node of the feedback resistor to the GND pin of the IC, is it better now ?

it looks better now. two more suggestion
1. don't connect the feed-back GND to the BATT- panel. just connect it to the GND pin of the IC. (signal GND should be connected to power GND with single point)
2. there is blank area between C4 VOUT-node and the IC. fill it with VOUT net copper if possible.
