Hi,

Would like to clarify few questions as per below:

1)Under which condition PCMT0 flag can be trigger?

2) We found that the current read back from BQ software vs multimeter are different during standby mode. Bq reads back -4mA, while multimeter only read back 560uA-600uA. We try to compare the reading during charge and discharge but the reading aslo different compare with multimeter. Can you please help to advice why the reading are different during standby mode?

I am not familiar with the PCMTO flag. Which gauge are you referring to?

The PCMTO flag will set if the gauge remains in pre-charge mode for too long. Did you calibrate the pack? There could be an offset caused by external components or the PCB layout. Calibrating the CC Offset and Board Offset may eliminate the current error, but these calibrations should be performed when no current is flowing.

Hi Tom,

For the PCMTO flag, to solve this problem , we need discharge the current above the Dsg Current Threshold? Because currently we set the Dsg Current Threshold at 100mA, it is mean that we discharge above 100mA then the PCMTO flag will go off?

Entering discharge mode should cause the PCMTO flag to reset. You can also set the PC-MTO parameter to 0 to disable the feature.
