Hi,

My customer is considering to use the BQ24780S and BQ34z100-G1.

These device are going to be controlled by the MSP430.

They have a following question.

Can these device communicate on the same line by I2C?

Though I could confirm the BQ34z100-G1's address, couldn't confirm BQ24780S's.

I hope it can help you use the BQ24780S on the same I2C bus.

Thank you for your information.
However I think that this report is written toward I2C device.
Do you have information toward SMBus devices?

That is the closest application note I can get. It lists the difference between I2C and SMBus.
