BQ25505 - is there any steady output to show that battery is charging?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25505

I am using the BQ25505 to charge a battery in a solar-powered light.  My original intention was to use the panel output into a PNP to save having a photo transistor.  However, every 16 seconds when the MPPT measurement is taken VIN goes higher and the LEDs flicker.  I was going to use VSTOR instead with an NPN on the ground, but that appears to be back-driven by the battery when VIN is not powered.

In order to use the panel as a light sensor, I need to find an output from the BQ25505 that shows when the battery is charging but with no flicker for MPPT or any other reason.  Is there a pin that shows this status?
