Hi Sir,

My customer simulate TPS56C215 for Input 5V, output 1V / 9A, Application DDR memory with TPS51200

Consider temperature, 25ºC ambient full load 1V / 9A burning test, measurement temperature 55ºC (IC body)

if run 65ºC ambient, temperature maybe fail (customer spec, not IC spec)!

so can suggest sync- buck controller for me?

That is only 30 C temperature rise. At 65 C ambient, the IC temp would still be less than 100 C. What is the requirement?

Hi Sir,

Ideal is only 30 C temperature rise, but actually run 65ºC ambient maybe over 100ºC or margin,
100ºC is customer spec, not TPS56C215 spec (150ºC), TI's IC is OK.

You might be able to keep junction temperatures lower with a controller. especially if you use 2 FETs for low side switch. Power Quick Search will no doubt yield many possible choices.
